Background:
A mysterious rag clad priest that emerged from the seas a decade ago, Xuereb the Wretched is known for fiery preaching and being a general troublemaker in spite of his seeming old age. Proud of his connection to Gavi and His grand domain, he regularly performs the Rite of Submersion to those that wish to become members of the Cult. He has been known to be decidedly unfriendly with the secular authorities of the countries in the archipelago, particularly those of a Solaris bent. Armed and clothed with nothing more than that which Gavi provides or Xuereb can take (through batering, stealing, brawling, or simply paying), he wanders from town to village to city, proclaiming to all the glories of Gavi and the endless challenge that awaits those brave or strong enough to seek it.
