Background:
Born in Carpesia but his ancestry traces back to the Ciottoman empire. Part of the Kararir clan, father married local Carpesian clan with Yeliccian descent to grow the clan's influence. Follows the Çajra faith but believes faith is personal and therefore does not engage in public displays of faith outside of the rite of submersion. Does not preach the faith or offer advice unless it's specifically requested. As a child his father taught him to sail and to defend himself in the way of the Ciottoman Navy as his father taught him. Proud of his diverse family heritage and went on to become a mason due to his interest in Yeliccian architecture. He is a man of knowledge who always seeks to learn more about the faiths and beliefs of other cultures, most notably takes an interest in Yeliccian and Carpesian customs despite following mostly Ciottoman traditions himself, with a few exceptions.
