Background:
Born in Mulgaria in 1910 Khali Zafirova witnessed from a young age the power of revolution. The child of Eva Zafirova, their politics were heavily influenced by their mother's. Their childhood was marked by Eva's involvement in revolutionary and assembly politics. Khali's relationship with their mother soured after her refusal to accept them into the military wing of the Organized Syndicates of Mulgaria at only 12 years of age, this caused Khali to enter a prolonged rebellious phase that carried with them until this day. At 14 years old, Khali became obsessed with Čajraism as a method of resisting the Mulgarian government's attempts at suppressing religious freedoms. They began associating with an illegal rebellious group of Cultists of Gavi, known as the Followers of the Drowned, at this point they began to realize their mystical disposition in their ability to remain submerged for an unnatural time. Khali's disposition caught the attention of prominent cultists who began guiding their mystic abilities, however, the cult ultimately found their attempts to be in vain as Khali's mysticism seemed to have a personality of its own. Khali began a journey of discovery around Meridia to better understand their abilities, eventually ending up in Faru.
