Background:
Virgil was born and raised as a mercenary who specialized in explosive work and hand-to-hand combat, while his brother had a more tamed nature, specializing in gardening, general cultivating, and fishing

One day during his training, a bomb goes off too early, and part of the shrapnel landed in his right eye, and was later cut out due to infection. Despite being a former mercenary for hire, he doesn't actually have any combat experience, but he won't let you know that.

His current occupation as a demolitions expert sees him use part of his knowledge in explosives for mining, generally for hard materials that are hard to get to without the use of explosives, he is, however, always looking for better ways to reach those materials and is potentially looking into alchemy for his next mining expedition.
