Background:
Born to a house of old Nepublian nobility, Bruno had a wealthy, rich upbringing. To call Bruno a renaissance man would be an understatement. Growing up with a rich education in the arts and sciences, there is nary a thing that Bruno has not tried at least once. Of these many things, Bruno took a keen liking to Surfing, Debating, and Bushcraft-style forest survival.
His father, Johan Stojanović, originally gave to him the job in the Nepublian Wing of the Glorbo-Slorbian War Cabinet, but he quickly grew to love the game of politics over the stone-headed war games they'd force him to observe. Rising through the ranks, he eventually used his position to negotiate a change of career, at first being a mentor to the Swopian embassy prior to their communist revolution. With his work taking him to Slorbia, he grew frustrated with the inefficacy of Monarchism, and his heart yearned to return home to Nepublia. With the collapse of the Slorbo-Glorbian empire, he knew what he had to do. Donning commoners clothes, he made haste towards his old home. After weeks of travel over harsh conditions, Bruno returned to the court in which he was raised. Coming home to radical change, he welcomed Nepublia's democratic revolution with open arms, and offered to lend his diplomatic skills to the fledgling nation to establish positive relations and gain international recognition.
After years of serving the Republic, the Prime Minister of Nepublia summoned him. He was tasked with establishing contact with a breakaway region of Bloatia, with whom Nepublia has had a fierce rivalry over their disputed borderlands, most notably the Drachtenube River Valley (the Bloatian panhandle on the 1916 map). Any opportunity to deny their main rival a strategic peninsula in the southern sea was not one that Nepublia could afford to ignore. On this note, Bruno gathered his items and embarked to the southern lands of Faru.
