Background:
Born in the far off land of Gilgeria to the noble House of Aknevo, Heir to the County of Aknevo. Wilhelm studied military strategy at the War College in Clint City, the capital of the Gilgerian Federal Republic. After graduation Wilhelm served as a military advisor to the Stratigos War council during the 2nd Gilgerian Time of Trouble and assisted the King of Holy Tempest during the 3rd Time of Trouble against Nova Corean invaders. Upon his call home to claim the title of Count of Aknevo the beginning of the Gilgerian Collapse occurred. With word that Aknevo was in ruins and the governments of Gilgeria were crumbling Wilhelm could only flee the chaotic land and find a new home. Wilhelm managed to escape on his ship traveling for weeks until he reached island in the south east of Faru which he claimed for himself unbeknownst to the fledgling republic forming on the mainland. Building a small homestead and lighthouse upon the island he named it Segunbeztan coming from segun beztanir meaning "All of our land" in an old Gilgerian language. Mainlander fisherman eventually took notice of the activity there and went to investigate. Making contact with Wilhelm and exchanging stories the fisherman related information of the Republican Government to him and recommended that he send word to the government that the island is occupied and request annexation. Upon his request and exploration of the mainland Wilhelm linked up with other Gilgerian refugees to the west of the main capital city. Upon meeting them he thought about a new goal to make a homeland for the remnants of their people scattered through the world.
