Background:
Born in 1769. His father was a farmer under the Kararir Clan in southern Carpesia. His ancestors are a mix of Kararir retainers and formerly prosperous coastal artisans during the 17th century, who since fell into grinding poverty with the slump in the coastal towns' prosperity. Bitter reminiscences and some residual heirlooms have captured his imagination and motivated him to return to that vision of economic prosperity. So far, he hasn't had much luck, living off of seasonal help in agriculture and mining to locals, but has joined the Nermaku and migrated with them in hopes of finding greener pastures.
