- Non-denominational, leans toward the solarists through familial connections
- One of the few middle-class citizens to exist within the country
- rejects clan life as a farce, but is a hypocrite because he loves his family dearly.

Background:
A man cursed, a family cursed, a name cursed.
The Thenaklios family has always seen bad luck, consistently getting agonizingly close to marginal power, only for unfortunate events to always unfold at the times in which they are not needed. A mayoral position undone by internal strife, familial rivalries squashed only for a wedding to go a-rye. Marcos has massive expectations put upon him, the oldest of 5 brothers and the most cunning of his side of the family tree. There is some expectation that he might be the first to break his family out of the curse that has followed them for hundreds of years, like a plague of locusts following a rotting carcass. Marcos is prepared, however, his mettle will be tested in ways he couldn't have expected.
