Traits and Political Views:
- "reactionary" communist
-Farun and tapedonian nationalism in unity to reform the ancient krentonian identity - Krenton Supremacy in constrast to Leos old ideology. Not outwardly known however, and comes across as a tapedonian origin farun nationalist.
-View Faru as the natural successor of the ancient empire.
-Fierce anti-bloatian and anti-mulgarian tendencies, to the point of xenophobia

Some goals:
-Collaboration with the Aesalites if possible
-Eventual integration of the autonomy
-Resurrection of the Farun Monarchy with the Krenton Autocrat as atleast nominal head of state
-Monopolization of vital sections of the farun economy.
-Integration with eastern and northern sectors.
-seeks to reastablish the krenton empire, through the farun-tapedonian hybrid culture.

Background:
With the death of leo without a successor the krenton autocracy devolved into a brief and localized civil war within the autonomy.
Two sides to the war:
-Leo/ Marks Loyalists: those who adhered to the orthodox line of the Cubaeist cult of Marks, and the Krenton Internationalist-Communist Ideology.
-Alexios Faction: Followers of the former imperial senator. Those who adhered to an alternate more nationalist driven intepretation of Marks precepts. More willing to collaborate and compromise with reactionary forces (opportunistic). Evolved out of frustration with Leos failures to advance the communist cause internationally, anger towards the recent occupation of tapedon (Who Leo was suppossed to protect) and the complete collapse of the NFL-CPF front.

Leos faction was disorganized and in mourning and was quickly taken by surprise. Alexios faction seized control of the garrison and arteries of state. After fierce fighting over the next few days the old varangian guard abandoned the Leoites and joined Alexios, and quickly put down the last pockets of resistence within the palace.

Alexios is a former imperial Senator and Logothete (chancellor), and is determined to make the tapedonian autonomy the economic linchpin of faru through expeditious monpolization of the fertilizer, munitions, and recreational sectors. Through this he will further the political goals of his faction. Collaboration with northern and eastern cities is key.
