Background: Dukakis grew up in a rural poverty stricken farmhouse for most of his life. He watched the world around him change into an industrial society. He spent time in many youth groups where he became distrustful of other's motives. He never spent too long in any movement as he saw that none stayed true to the goal of protecting the rights of man. Dukakis was elected mayor of Markarth and has spent most his political career trying to shape the city into a future of freedom.
