Background:
Riaqi (Birth name unknown) was born in east Carpesia around 1762, spending most of their early life around the mountains.
Around their 14th, their family got mysteriously sick, so they left to Vidinia to search for a possible cure to their illnesses.
There, they learned the basics of alchemy, and eventually prepared a few potential cures.
Returning a month later, a few had passed away, some of the cures seemed to work but, most relapsed and succumbed to the disease.
After isolating themselves in a cabin for a brief period of time to improve the cure, they manage to cure their singular remaining cousin, Ixəfira.
These events caused Riaqi to focus on alchemy, to make sure they'd be able to strengthen themselves and their cousin, and prevent another illness from taking her away.
Travelling together for a few years to the various cities on the islands, they learned about the culture and various processes of alchemy; and developing a desire to pass down all knowledge they gain.
Being older now, everything is starting to weigh on them as they returned to the mountains.
