Background:

Parisa Eghbali was born to a single father as shortly after her birth her mother died of disease. She was raised by her father and always went along with him. As he was a fisherman and had many merchant friends she saw a lot of the ocean and spent much of her childhood on the waves sailing. She was rarely in one spot at one time, and the only education she received was from her father and his friends. She learned how to fish through them and when she wasn't on the waves she appreciated the foliage around her, and while on the waves she was fascinated with kelp forests and the rare coral reef. As her father got older she would do some of the sailing for him, helped out fellow fisherman and did some trading in the ports. Because her father was a Cajraist she was too and spent many of her years with the Nermarku Clan when she could.

Even when she became an adult she was still very much tied to her father and didn't spend long away from him. But when she was at the age of 28 her father went sailing with some friends and never returned, lost at sea. Without him Parisa found herself alone in Carpesia with no guidance, with only the small, unlikely dream of making a seaside tavern, with nobody in the world to help her.
