Background:
I was born in historical Infaru into a life of moderate comfort. My father was a Lawyer, though his father and father's father and-so-on were teachers at the Cubeaist parish school. My mother stayed in the home and raised me and my five siblings. My early education consisted mostly of private tutoring. When I was old enough, I left home and studied Philosophy at the Royal College of Slorbienna. Doctorate in hand, I lived in Slorbienna's opium dens and coffee houses while writing my books and letters to comrades all over the continent. Eventually, I moved back home to Infaru to try work with the farmers and coal miners unions. By the time of the Civil War I was too old and far too fight, but my mind is sharp as ever!
